Using a powerful vacuum we get up there and suck most of it straight out so the gunk is always contained. We also employ safe practices that won’t damage your roof or dent the gutters.
And just in case you don’t believe us, we can take pictures of any troughs you can’t see into through your windows.
If requested and as needed, we’ll give the underside of troughs a good scrub and make repairs. We can also install new gutters and down-pipes and extend higher ones to lower eaves troughs to avoid run-off onto roof tiles, preventing further build up of algae striping down the roof.

DRIVEWAY, DECKING, FENCE & PATHS PRESSURE WASHING
We consider this to be one of the most cost effective methods of freshening up your property - the biggest bang for your buck, let’s say. A freshly cleaned driveway really pops out and says something about your home.
We take great care in avoiding making concrete cracks bigger and pay special attention to landscaping and woodwork around the home, while preventing the striping effect caused by uneven washing. We also seek to ensure that there is adequate drainage and if not we will employ a pump to prevent pooling of water around drains. Also, any detergents we use are non-toxic and eco-friendly.
In short, we tackle problems before they arise and leave your property sparkling clean.
A note on windows, gutters and siding: when asked if we can pressure wash windows, gutters or siding, we often advise our clients against this cleaning method. If it is too aggressive for the paint work, or if there is a chance of forcing water into places the construction wasn’t designed for, we tend to go the old fashioned route by using a siding brush, eco-friendly detergent (that dries spot/streak-free) and a large serving of elbow grease. Sometimes doing it the hard way is simply the right way.

ROOF DEBRIS REMOVAL, MOSS REMOVAL & FURTHER GROWTH PREVENTION (INC. ALGAE & LICHEN)
How many ways are there to skin a cat? There is as much advice out there on how to deal with the various plant life that populates our roofs. So what do you do?
We have based our roof maintenance philosophy on the idea that what will prolong its life will also preserve its good looks.
This means that harsh chemicals and, for the most part, high-powered pressure washing are out. Although they produce immediate and often pleasing results, they also degrade asphalt and cedar shake shingles. Therefore, over time, the cleaning benefits are negated.
In these cases, where moss cannot be easily removed, our solution is simple and extremely effective. All it requires is a little patience. After carefully blowing away loose debris, we spray an eco-friendly, no bleach or phosphate solution called Spray & Forget over the entire roof.
 After just a week or so you’ll see that the moss has already died. Over the following weeks and months nature takes its course as wind and rain gradually remove all plant life, and the spray prevents re-population for over a year in many cases, even in our climate.
Now there’s nothing harsh about that!
High pressure washing is a generally acceptable method to use on clay and concrete tile and metal roofs. An application of Spray & Forget will help prevent moss re-growth.
